Take a look guys. This is the extra “Losers” point at work in your NHL.
Take note that the ROW is the Regulation and OT WINS of the teams in the East. If you look at that number, you will see that EVERY team in the SOUTHEAST division, except Canes has more REGULATION AND OT WINS than Florida. Carolina is actually tied with Florida for ROW. So, if you can manage to take just 5 extra minutes to LOSE, you can take the Division title.
I HATE THAT POINT. Sorry, we need to remove that point. If you lose, you lose.
Peg, Tampa, and Carolina will not make the playoffs because of the losers point. Sure, maybe they don’t deserve to be there. Peg does. But if they don’t, Florida doesn’t.
