What? So Russian is like some combination of Greek or what? French was so much easier!

I agree for French. ;)

Russian seems very hard !

It’s actually a lot easier in some respects. For instance, there’s only one conjugation for the present tense and only…

Well, that’s easier - that stuff was a big pain to learn and I still don’t remember it. It just looks hard because I don’t recognize half the letters. I just basically wanted to say hello!

A snapshot from 6:29pmET, Tuesday 9/28/2010. Alex Ovechkin stands in the locker room hallway that leads to the tunnel, that leads to the ice. We can’t see him, but we imagine him there: shifting his weight from blade to blade, fresh with impatience and possibility. He stands there through the…

Russian is actually not so hard. But maybe it’s because Czech and Russian are quite similar. I would rewrite it as…. Dub-raye oot-ra. Looks weird and funny. :D :D

So that (Д) is supposed to sound like a D?  Yeah! I got something right! I think I better stick with pri-vyet!

Здравствуйте ('hello' - formal - and I can't pronounce it no matter how many times I hit that sound button to have the professor pronounce it for me!)

I’m better at Hi (Привет, which is pri-vyet, much easier!)
